Chesapeake Bay - Foundation Smart Growth Animations
 
The Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) asked us to apply our visualization strategies to a case study in St. Mary's County Maryland. Various 'smart growth' concepts involving different housing densities and patterns were illustrated on a waterfront property in 'Chesapeake Country'.

Queen Annes County Parks & Recreation
 
DDIS was asked to help the Parks and Recreation Department compete in a competition for the best parks. This series of aerials forms the basis for a narrated video.
 


     
Kent Island Growth Plan
 
Commissioned by the Planning and Zoning Department of Queen Annes County, this project helped opposing parties clearly visualize the impacts of growth, zoning policies and buffer setbacks on Kent Island Maryland.. 
 
   
Land Conservatory
 
Commissioned by a private land conservatory group, this group of DDIS annotated photos showed the growth opportunities in contrast with the natural areas that needed protection.

 

 

Town Planning

Commissioned by the Queen Annes County planning department, this series of planning diagrams helped the citizens advisory committee prioritize future growth areas.
